“The O3 Team is definitely capable of thinking outside the box. We wanted something to really sell our conference and sell the perks of coming to Durham and bringing the family along as well. The project was a great success. They definitely hit it out of the park.” - Nik Mitchell, Duke CFAR
Duke University is known for many things. A legendary basketball program, an enormous chapel, top-rated medical facilities, and some of the best and brightest research minds that America has to offer. When Duke was selected to host the 15th Annual National Center for AIDS Research Conference, they knew that they had to put together an attractive website to advertise the event to their partners nationwide.
What they didn’t want was another medical website – a website washed with text and dry enough to bore even the most interested of parties. They challenged us to think outside of the box and put together a project that they could be proud of. They also needed a stable infrastructure to handle the event registrants. Relying on email alone to send information back-and-forth would be time consuming and sometimes downright unreliable. The registration form on the CFAR website logs every submission to a database as well as notifies Administrators and Attendants of additional information.
