The Ellmers campaign approached O3 for a fresh new website for the 2012 election year. Along with a complete redesign, the campaign wanted the ability for a host of campaign staffers to be able to update the website quickly and easily. So, as is our standard, we turned to WordPress.
We outfitted WordPress to contain quite a host of advanced features for the campaign. The staff have the ability to quickly create donation-ready landing pages at the drop of a pin. They can also turn on and off a series of “splash” pages at their will to collect email addresses, solicit donations, or convert website visitors into social followers.
The website features video throughout. Each individual post can contain a video that will be posted not only to that singular post, but to the website’s sidebar as well as call to action sections along the website header. Along with these advanced features is a full custom event management application as well as donation management through Anedot.
