Mantra Indian Cuisine & Bar opened in the exclusive Glenwood South District in the Summer of 2011. Mantra’s ownership completely rennovated the space previously held by The Blue Martini and turned it into an eatery with a distinct and authentic Indian atmosphere.
Mantra’s executive chef, Gamer Rawat, is known throughout the Triangle as an authority on Indian cuisine. The O3 crew got to sample his fare during a soft launch event and the food was excellent!
Mantra’s key demographic was young professionals who both lived and worked in the area. Glenwood South is teeming with twenty-somethings from the early lunch hours till the last call. Mantra needed a young and hip website to interface with this demographic while not alienating its purpose and atmosphere.
