Research & Planning
While we firmly believe that no two design projects are the same, we always begin our design process the same way: with questions. What is your competition doing online? Is their website an integral part of their business and—if so—how are they generating valuable feedback and/or revenue through it? What websites do you find inspirational in your field of work? What are your aspirations for the design?
By collecting this information, we can begin to outline and define your website. From here we know what you expect from us and can begin sketching and piecing together mood boards to capture the project’s aesthetic. This preliminary process is vital to our creative process.
Architecture & Prototyping
Once we have a clear direction on where to drive your project, we get to work. We’ll begin forming simple wireframes depicting our vision of your website, prototyping every template your site needs. With simple shapes, these wireframes will define the overall structure and layout.
Every webpage needs to be navigated, and this process gives you a feel of how your customers will experience your new site without the fine-details.
After successfully structuring your project’s general feel, it’s time for the part everybody loves—the design itself. Following our research and wireframes closely, we’ll dig deep into Creative Suite and begin carefully putting pixels to screen. This process is lengthy (we strive for perfection, which takes time), but as the design begins to take shape, the beauty of your new site will begin to unfold.
Once we’re completely ecstatic with the design and feel comfortable with it being a perfect match for your company, we’ll present the work to you.
After approval of the design, we begin the process of bringing the art to life for publication on the web. We work diligently to successfully marry art and code to ensure a robust and standards compliant website that will work with all modern operating systems and browsers. The content management system is implemented during this phase. Each subset of text is analyzed and placed inside the content management system for future changes that will not require any coding knowledge.
Once the code is put into place, we will stage a test website that will be a fully functional version of your eventual website.
We will launch your website once every word has been written, every pixel has been placed and after final approval by your team.
